  • What happens when it rains?
    We’ve got you covered, literally! The Pavilion is equipped with removal clear curtains in case of inclement weather. There is no additional charge for their use.
  • Can we provide our own alcohol to our event?
    No, The Abbey is the sole bar service allowed on site and costs $500 per event. We are fully insured and our servers are up-to-date with the Department of Liquor Control trainings. This bar fee is collected largely to pay for 3rd party security, which is required for all events.
  • Can we provide our own food or have an outside caterer for our function?
    Sometimes we allow for outside food vendors, depending on the time of year. Please see the second page of this packet for more information. Our preferred catering vendors for are included in this packet.
  • Can I bring my own dessert?
    Yes! You are welcome to bring an outside dessert to your party. We will cut and serve this dessert as a part of our catering services at no additional cost. Glass plates and metal forks can be rented at an additional cost. Let us know if you need guidance on choosing your dessert, we have provided a list of tried and true vendors on this website!
  • Can we bring our dog? Can we have horses?
    We do allow for a dog to be on-site for the ceremony only. Our requirement is that there is a point person responsible for the dog and that the dog remains on a leash for the entirety of its time on the property. If the dog relieves itself on the property, the excrement must be properly disposed. If you would like to be brought by horse and carriage we ask that there is a professional handler on-site. Horses must be trailered after the marriage ceremony. All excrement must be properly disposed.
  • Is there a space on the property for the bridal/groom's party to get ready?
    We allow a rental of our restaurant lounge for this purpose for a fee. Please contact us for more details.
  • Can we have a rehearsal?
    Yes! You are welcome to have a rehearsal on Friday. We recommend renting the Farm Room in our restaurant for a Friday rehearsal dinner.
  • Can the pavilion be rented for non-wedding events?
    Yes of course! Please contact us with more information about your event.
  • Can we visit the Pavilion before we sign a contract?
    Absolutely! The facilities are generally booked during the weekend but can be visited during the week and off-season weekend days. Please call Shannon to schedule a meeting or a visit. Visit our contact page for more information.
  • How do we reserve our date?
    We require a $1000 deposit to secure a particular date. Please give us a call for more information.
  • Do I need to purchase event insurance?
    Yes, we require event insurance.
  • What are the size of the tables included with pavilion rental?
    We have 8' wooden farm house style tables. These tables can fit up to 8 people if linked in a row.
  • My party is larger than 240 guests, can we add a tent for more capacity?
    Yes! It is possible to add a tent to the end of the pavilion to increase seating capacity. Please check our vendor list for more information on tent rentals.
  • Can I host a photoshoot on this property outside of a booked event?
    Yes! We allow photographers use of the pavilion grounds for a fee of $1,500 for a days shoot. This must be booked in advance with Shannon Kane. Her email is shannon@abbeygroup.net.
